Dance with me
Learn Swing Dance, Lindy Hop and Charleston
Liza Patoux is a former UK Lindy Hop champion, trained in old-school Harlem jazz and Charleston by original dancers from the 1930s and '40s, as well as leading figures of the swing revival. She has been honoured to assist Frankie Manning and studied jazz dance and tap intensively with Chazz Young, Chester Whitmore and Ryan Francois. Dancing on stage, screen and in music videos, she has also had the rare privilege of tap dancing for Fayard Nicholas of the legendary Nicholas Brothers.

Teaching generations of London swing dancers since 1999, she performed for many years with the Sophisticated Ladies troupe, directed by Strictly Come Dancing choreographer Jenny Thomas, and now shares all she’s learned from the Swing Masters through her dance classes in London.

Private swing dance classes
Whether you're brand new to swing dancing, preparing for a wedding dance, or wanting to feel more confident on the dance floor, my private swing dance lessons in London give you personalised, supportive teaching at your pace.
Drawing on the lineage and history of lindy hop, passed on by original Harlem jazz dancers, I specialise in building strong foundations, rooted in the traditions of authentic jazz dance, while helping you find your own style and flair.

From absolute beginners to more experienced dancers wanting cleaner technique and musicality, private lessons are relaxed, fun and tailored to you.
