Learn how to help your mind and body rest, sleep and recover
You’re managing life and work the best you can, getting things done. From the outside, it probably looks like you’re coping just fine. But inside, you’re so tired and wish you could get a good night’s sleep.
Maybe you’re awake at 2am, replaying conversations or running through tomorrow’s to-do list.
Or you fall into bed exhausted, only to lie there with your mind and body buzzing, unable to switch off.
You're not doing anything wrong. Your nervous system has been under so much sustained pressure, and it needs a reminder to unwind. That’s something we can work with.

If you're feeling shattered, you're probably really, really tired.
And we can do something to fix that.
Does any of this sound familiar? Perhaps you'll recognise yourself in some of these things:
-
You’re always on, always available, and somehow your mind and body never seem to fully switch off.
-
You feel tired but wired. Drained, yet unable to get the kind of rest you need.
-
Work spills beyond the nine to five, and the lack of boundaries is starting to affect your health, relationships and family life.
-
You’ve been pushing through on adrenaline, but under unrelenting pressure it’s getting harder to keep going.
-
You long for the sense of calm and buoyancy that lets you feel like yourself again - at your best.
-
There’s a constant hum of anxiety in the background, like noise you wish you could turn down.
-
You’re holding things together, but you know it isn’t sustainable.
-
You want practical, actionable support – without the woo woo.
If this resonates, it’s not because you’re not doing enough. It’s because you’re really, really tired.
Your nervous system has been under constant pressure. With a personalised plan and a little support, it can learn to settle.

Why rest feels impossible even when you’re exhausted
When life places constant demands on you, like work pressure, health challenges, or life transitions, your nervous system learns to stay on high alert. Over time, it unlearns how to fully rest.
This is why you might have so much difficulty getting to sleep. You might be physically exhausted, yet the moment you stop, your mind races or your body feels wired. It’s not because you’re not doing enough or failing. It’s because your system has been trying to keep you safe for so long.
Your nervous system has two main modes. One helps you respond to challenge and get things done. The other allows rest, recovery and repair. When pressure is sustained, your baseline stress rises, becoming your new default mode.
You might notice this as:
-
Lying awake with thoughts that won’t settle
-
Feeling frozen or overwhelmed when there’s too much going on
-
Needing caffeine, chocolate, nicotine or alcohol to get though the day
None of these are weaknesses. It’s your system doing its best under strain.
Rest can’t be forced, but your nervous system can relearn what safety and rest feel like when we create the right physical and mental conditions. Through breath, support and stillness, your body begins to soften.
Sleep comes more easily, and you can cultivate your own sense of calm, along with clarity, energy and resilience.

In this programme we will cover
What changes when you allow rest
You're calmer
Your nervous system gets a chance to down-regulate and settle. The constant nagging of anxiety quietens, and you start to feel stronger, more resilient and steadier every day.
You feel recharged
Physical rest recharges your energy. Without relying on quick fixes like caffeine or adrenaline, everything feels easier, and you notice a lighter, more buoyant version of yourself when you’re properly rested.
You gain insight
When you quieten the spinning mind and release unhelpful thoughts, pearls of your own wisdom begin to surface. You tap into your intuition, gaining clarity and the confidence to make better decisions for yourself.
You make time for physical rest
Your body finally gets the recovery it needs. Sleep improves, tension eases, and you stop carrying stress in your shoulders, jaw, chest and belly.
This is what becomes possible when you intentionally create space for rest - calm, clarity, energy, and a sense of ease that flows through your day.

"It was incredibly relaxing. I felt supported in so many ways… allowing someone to take over and be confident that they know what they're doing created so much more relaxation. The ability to completely switch off knowing I was being cared for is beyond belief." Relax and Renew® client

About Liza
I'm Liza Patoux, and I work with hardworking professionals who are exhausted by the pace of modern life.
After getting my hypnotherapy qualification, I trained in Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater and have spent years studying the physiology of relaxation, breathwork and nervous system regulation. But more importantly, I've lived this myself. I know what it's like to be under sustained pressure, to lose boundaries, and to need practical tools that actually work.
My approach is grounded, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate, combining science-backed mindfulness and hypnotherapy trusted techniques, with traditional yogic principles and Restorative Yoga. I teach relaxation as a skill we all deserve in our lives every day, not a luxury or indulgence. And I believe that when we create space for physical rest, we become calm, recharged, gain insight, and find buoyancy.
My values are health, positivity and happiness - and that's what I want for you, too.
