Elizian Days is actively taking part in campaigns to support mental health in the local community and features in a case study by London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Business Connects about our mental health awareness partnership with the Mind charity, which was forged through local networking opportunities.

Hammersmith & Fulham Council is helping small and medium sized businesses grow through the Hammersmith Networking programme. It's part of their work to boost the local economy and support high streets.
The programme's sessions take place multiple times a month across Hammersmith and Fulham (H&F) at different times of day to make sure as many borough-based businesses as possible can join. Events on offer include breakfast mornings, evening drinks and online sessions. A member of H&F's Business and Enterprise team is always in attendance too.
Cllr Zarar Qayyum, H&F Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Skills, said:
Providing networking opportunities for local businesses is part of our work to build a stronger, safer and kinder borough. If you live in H&F or your business is based in the borough come along to the next session to make connections across sectors."
Regular attendee Liza Patoux, founder of wellbeing consultancy Elizian Days, said about the gatherings:
"It's so easy and comfortable to get to know people and build your contacts at Hammersmith Networking's events. The atmosphere is so supportive – it's one of my favourite places to network. Not to be missed."

Success building local networks
Nicholas Smith, head of marketing and communications at Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind (HFEH Mind) attended an event at Kindred in Hammersmith.
As well as connecting with local businesses he was attending to promote the charity's 'Thirty for 30K' campaign. Nick explained:
"I had hoped to meet one potential partner for the campaign that day. Instead, we had immediate interest from several local businesses who wanted to get involved. The level of engagement from the other guests was far more than I could have hoped for when I signed up."
Nick's pitch led to a partnership with Elizian Days who delivered a 'Planning for Happiness' workshop at Livat Hammersmith, as part of HFEH Mind's mental health wellbeing programme." Off the back of the workshop, we managed to get repeat visitors to our free workshop, gained a new company for our Thirty for 30K campaign and also secured a sponsorship deal for our first ever community fun run."
The collaboration with Elizian Days is just one of several that have come from HFEH Mind attending Hammersmith Networking events. Other businesses now working with Nick include Cloud9Media, Unique People Consult and Kitchen Joy Cookery School.
Liza also benefited from the collaboration. After hearing about her workshops, a local construction firm invited her to deliver a series of on-site wellbeing activities for employees and contractors during Mental Health Awareness Week.
"Sometimes people think that going to their first networking event will be like going to a party where you don't know anyone, or all about speed pitching," said Liza.
"Hammersmith Network's events are designed to create an environment where people rack their brains to see how they can help each other."
